CPIs Rise in August

We’ve updated our Insights page with August CPI data for iOS and Android.  Both platforms saw CPIs trend higher month over month, with Android increasing 9% over July to $1.11.

Click on the Insights tab at the top of this page to see the interactive maps where you can hover over individual countries to see their values.  The darker the color in the map, the higher the average CPI bid. Highlights below:

 

- CPIs in the network rose slightly in August from July.  The average Android CPI rates rose 9% to $1.11, while iOS was up 5% to $1.54.

 

- The average iPad CPI ($1.63) remains 10% higher than iPhone ($1.48), with iPod touch lagging both at $1.24.  Australia had the highest average CPI at $2.07, followed by New Zealand and Canada.  The iOS heatmap is here.

 

- The average Android CPI in the US was $1.21 in August, an increase of 9% over July.  Strong competition in Russia raised rates from an average of $0.70 in June to $1.45 in August.  Most countries have an Android CPI of between $0.50 and $1.00.
